![]() The reason for this is the skill will now release two charges of phoenix strike at once, there by doubling the damage output of your finisher. This is pretty descent but the true power comes from dual wield claws and the finishing move Dragon Talons. You can now just stack your 3 charges and then release them without too much concern of immunities, as you 2 of the 3 charges (excluding your rare double immunes) will deal damage. So my current build is focused around Phoenix strike and its 3 Synergies, Fist of Fire, Thunder and Ice. Now, you can have 3 charges and use 3 finishers, which will release the cold, then lightning and finally the fire portion of the skill. So in Phoenix strike, if you have 3 charges and use a finisher, you would only release the cold portion of the strike. The new change, if your unfamiliar with it, now expels charges one at a time rather than all at once. Martial Arts Assassins have always been very interesting to me, but the tedium of charges has been a hamstring on the character for literally 20 years. Long and short of it you can do it on many characters, but it often involves absolutely insane levels of gear and you cant really rely on just your skills and the stuff you find on the ground. If you have infinity sorcs can manage it. Barbs can get through phys immunes with a berserk and we all know how godly hammerdins can be. Characters like Hammerdin and godly geared barbs have a better time through it, because the immunities are more manageable. Hello!
